How to Make Money Blogging

Most bloggers that talk about making money using blogs say that you should blog about something that you love, about something that you know a lot of, about a subject/area in which you are considered an expert. Most of these bloggers narrate the same story, a story in which they tell you how they just started their first blog writing about something that they loved and in no time they were earning $1000 dollars a day or more from adsense.

Most of the things you read are crap, they are just re-written versions of articles that have been published previously by bloggers like Steve Pavlina, John Chow, Darren Rowse, Grizzly, Alan Liew’s crappy blog, and a bunch more that are or have been dominating the search engines for make money blogging keywords for years. And even their articles suck, they have nothing on it, they don’t “teach” you anything, if you tried to make money from Steve Pavlina’s advice you would probably take about 5 to 6 years to make any serious money. Pavlina’s article the one that sits very high on the search engines for make money online keywords and blogging keywords is a very weak very long article that has no real information on it, it is more like an inspirational article that encourages people to blog, so if you look at it from that perspective it should be something positive, unfortunately that’s not what you are looking for, you are looking for ways to make money that work.  The person who took it the farthest was Grizzly but he didn’t reveal that much either, or did he??? Well he did reveal a lot of the things that you actually have to do to earn money earn money online, but there was a lot of confusion, especially for beginners.

To make money blogging you can’t just start wasting your time writing about the stuff that you love without knowing if its going to make you money someday. If you want to blog for money you want to make it a business, it’s all about numbers, statistics, trends, blogging is handled and managed the same way real world businesses are handled, you will find fearless competition that won’t stop at anything to crush you and get you out of their way.

To earn money blogging you have to do a lot of research, you have to find great keywords, you have to know how much traffic does a keyword generate, you have to know how easy or how hard it will be to beat the competition, that is why research is so important, sometimes you will find keywords that will generate hordes of traffic and you won’t even have to get backlinks to be #1 in the search engines.

If your site gets a lot of traffic and your content is great Google and the other search engines will give your site authority, when that happens you can start trying to rank for more keywords to get more traffic, and traffic makes money so that’s why you have to get, a lot of it.

Ranking? Traffic? Google?

If you are a newbie you might be thinking, what the heck is this guy talking about? Ranking in the search engines on the first page is very easy if you know the right stuff. To rank in the search engines you have to learn SEO search engine optimization. Some people make SEO seem complicated, search engine optimization can be both simple and easy. The most simple techniques will have the most powerful results.

If you want to blog just for blogging, to express yourself and stuff like that, then follow Steve Pavlina’s advice and write about your passions, areas of expertise, points of view, etc. If you want to make money blogging, do keyword research, spy on your competition, do research on the subject you have chosen, buy a domain, get a good hosting plan, write about the information you learned on your research, appply effective and powerful SEO techniques, get lots of traffic, make money online!!!
